The Douglas County sheriff’s office says a flash fire at North Sails Company was reported just after 3 a.m. Monday.
Seven employees were able to get out and called 911.
Officials say the initial call involved a manufacturing machine, but a second alarm was called when active fire was seen in another machinery area.
The sheriff’s office says the fire was extinguished within 10 minutes.
Damage is estimated at $250,000 to the equipment. There was also some damage to the building’s electrical system.
