Fire breaks out at Maryland industrial park

LINTHICUM, Md. – A two-alarm fire broke out in a commercial building near BWI Marshall Airport early Wednesday afternoon.

Anne Arundel County Fire Assistant Chief Fred Swindle says the fire broke out around 1 p.m. in the 1300 block of Concourse Drive in Linthicum. Units responded to the Gateway Industrial Park where they found a fire in the roof of one of the buildings.

The call escalated to two-alarms before crews were able to get the fire contained.

There were no injuries and fire officials believe the cause was accidental.
