As the year comes to a close, I want to take a moment to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to all of you who have supported this project thus far.
To think that just a year ago, the idea of a site and Not Just Another Fire Facebook page providing news and training information related to specialty-type / non-residential fires was only a faint concept. The success to date is due in part to each and every one of you who have “liked” the page and shared the project with your friends and colleagues.
This has been a very busy year for me due to the demands both at home, as well as on the road for the “day job” work. This year in my work as an insurance fire protection specialist, I have logged almost 30,000 road miles across parts of 10 states, with 94 nights in hotels. So, consequently, there have been times when this project has had to take a back-burner, and for that I apologize. I appreciate the patience and support you have all shown to the idea of providing this type of resource, and I look forward to all of you sticking around and being a part of our continued growth. I have great goals for the website as the new year gets rolling.
There are so many people who have encouraged me and sent words of support to the page that I cannot possibly mention everyone, but I would like to at least extend a special thank you to Chris and John at Fire Training Toolbox for their friendship and for allowing me to be a part of their project and for encouraging so many of you to come follow NJAF here.
Again, thank you all, and have a safe and HAPPY NEW YEAR! See you in 2014!
