Ind. emergency crews respond to concrete plant fire

SPEED, Ind. (WHAS11) – SPEED, Ind. (WHAS11) – Emergency officials are determining the cause of a fire at a concrete plant in Speed, Indiana just north of Louisville.

Fire officials say the fire broke out just before 6 p.m. Sunday in a dust collector which produced lots of smoke. It was originally reported by officials as an explosion.

Crews from both Sellersburg and Henryville responded. They say the fire was under control as of 6:45PM and there were no injuries.
