JACKSON, Tenn. – There were some scary moments for workers at a Jackson plant when a fire broke out inside the building, Wednesday.
Jackson firefighters responded to a flash fire inside the Pringles Plant on the Highway 70 Bypass around 12 p.m.
Firefighters said that most of the fire was contained by the plant’s sprinkler system. However, some of the fire did make it into the duct work and an exhaust system at the plant causing a few spot fires.
The Jackson Fire Department said workers with Kellogg’s in house fire brigade had the fire under control when they arrived.
No injuries or serious damage were reported.
